Anne Bundred and Ian Musker check out the clubs new shadow
The Capricornia Blokart Club will be holding a “Free Come and Try Day” to introduce locals to the exciting sport of Blokarting. Our local beaches are the perfect venue for this fast and fun pastime which can be enjoyed by age groups from 8 to 80.
A spokesperson for the local club, Steve Bundred, said that with the recent addition of a side-car the club could now take young children for a sail on the beach in complete safety. Even adults, who have never sailed before, can enjoy the freedom of zipping up and down the beach using only the power of the wind.
“The Come and Try Day will be an excellent opportunity for locals to experience the excitement of Blokarting,” said Steve. “With the club’s purchase of the side-car any “landlubber” will be able to have a go and get a valuable introduction to the science of sailing. The same principles of sailing on the water apply to Blokarting.”
The Capricornia Blokart Club’s open day will be held on Mulambin Beach on Saturday the 15th October from 11am to 4pm. There is no charge and everyone is welcome.
