The Capricornia Blokart Club will host the 2023 Mid Summer Blokart Blast regatta on the 17th to the 19th February 2023 at Mulambin beach near Yeppoon.

Australia’s premier winter get-away for Blokarters.

The annual Capricornia Blokart Bash, CBB, is to be held  on Mulambin Beach, Yeppoon. Friday 10th June through until Monday 13th June 2022.

For all you southerners, the weather in Yeppoon in June is delightful, warm days and cool evenings. The perfect place to escape the colder weather down south. And have fun in your Blokart.

A weekend of fun blokarting and socializing on the beautiful Capricorn Coast.

• Marathon with a Le Mons Start and forced pit stops to change a tyres.
• Team relay events.
• Racing with shadows. (2 people per kart)
• Racing with deuce bars. (Connecting karts together)
• Social racing.
• Social gatherings.

There won’t be any weight divisions or production/performance categories.

There are no prizes or trophies this is a fun social weekend.

Order and pay for your pizza for the Sunday night Pizza night at registration.

News Letter NZAU Feb 2022

It has been decided to cancel the 2022 Mid Summer Blast Regatta due to the increased number of Covid cases in Queensland.

If you have entered the event and paid the entry fee you will get a full refund. You should get an email with the details.

The Capricornia Blokart Club apologies for any inconvenience.

We look forward to catching up in June at the Blokart Bash on the 10th to the 13th June.

The 2022 Blokart Nationals hosted by the Perth Blokart Club have been postponed until early 2023.

2021 Woodgate Classic and Marathon results.

A great weekend of Blokarting at Woodgate for the Woodgate Classic.

Lots of wind as well as storms on Friday for the practice sessions, then very little wind on Saturday meant the marathons had to postponed, before a great day on Sunday with 5 short races and the marathons all squeezed into a few hours while the tide was out.

I am still learning how to use the new Mylaps system to give us the results we need for blokarting. Sorry for any mistakes, it takes time for us to process the results and get them out for presentations and we ran out of time to fully check all results prior to the presentations.
